Cover a car in golden foil in photoshop

  • Open Aston Martin car image in Photoshop. I’ve chosen grey color car.
  • Separate car image from background. Create contour using Pen  Tool and Convert Point Tool.
  • Ctrl + Enter to create selection. Edit > Cut, Paste car image into a new layer.

  • Go to Image > Adjustments > Curves.
  • Choose RGB Channel and move Highlights point to left a little bit.
  • Blue Channel: move top Highlights point down.
  • Red Channel: move top point to left.
