Now I’m sure by now that more than a few of you have stumbled across what is referred to as an HDR photo on the internet at some point - you’ll know when you see one. The striking, saturated and dreamlike colors make the entire photo pop from the screen - and often times it looks as if the photo was taken in a dream. Normally you’d need a somewhat advanced camera with the ability to take photos in RAW format to cause this effect…
Last weekend I was watching the Iron Man movie and I was blown away by some of the effects I saw. Loved the bombs and some interface designs, in special when he puts the mask and lots of cool elements start popping on the screen, like the Terminator view. That really inspired me and I decided to try that in Photoshop.
Step by step tutorial on how to turn your photo into lomography photo, but also add an attraction to your photo by making them into HDR-look.
In the spirit of Halloween, I decided I would create a tutorial on how to create text engulfed in flames. Sorry no pumpkins, maybe next time :). This tutorial is a bit of a challenge, so if your a beginner, some practice will be required.
Create a document of size 750×550 pixels.
