We’ll use the picture of the sunset provided by Lelaina, member of pxleyes for this tutorial. (Thank you Lelaina).
If you did not download the picture from the link provided for you. Do the following:
Click on the right side of your mouse.
When the window opens, Save As.
Give the file a name.
Save it in a place where you can have access to it, as we’ll be working with it.
Open the picture of the sky to start your work. Change the name of layer, instead of “Background”, name it, “Sky 1″.
We will delete areas that we do not want in the picture.
Delete the area from the right side of the picture of the sunset.
Delete the dark area at the bottom of the picure of the sunset.
Our goal is to leave the beauty of the sky by itself.
